TOPIC: Two registrations, one registrant

We are not as big as you, but we do have one event that we are currently having people sign up for that will potentially have 1000 registrants. I put in the instructions that you may receive more than one confirmation e-mail and that was normal. I have received only one query.

The only way I can explain why some are duplicated and not others is that it is how the code handles the data. Code problems are fixable. It is a matter of how difficult it is.

To add to the mystery, we picked up 3 more registrations over the weekend that did NOT duplicate.

As far as I know, I did not change any settings.

So we are now wondering if perhaps the duplication is somehow related to a problem that the user is experiencing on the front end.

It is funny that you mention it, I have not had duplicates for some time. The bug in the code might be related to the date people registered. Strange.

My duplicate dates were 08-16-08 and 08-17-08.

I had duplicates on 8/16, 8/17, and a single one on 8/18.

Maybe there is something to this date/time thing?
