05.) Event Creation:

-I'd like to have an online, user Event creation process, but let me
explain...
I want to allow users to fill out a form similar to how I would create an
event. So it has a Name/Title, time/date, min/max user count etc. This
process would collect information but not actually create an event, it's
just a submission for a "suggestion".
As the ADMIN, I could review these submitted suggested events. Then if I
chose to "convert" it to a live Event, I would then have to do some back
end additions like assigning it to a "Category" item, assigning the event
contact/email, and all the override details, location etc.

A frontend user ability to create events already exists. You set in the permissions who has access to do so. You can also set who has permission to PUBLISH events. So if you set a user group as able to create but NOT publish, then essentially they are doing what you have described here. The event is created in the system, but no one sees it on the site. Only admins would see it... then have the ability to publish it, edit, etc as desired.

Thanx for the info Nathan, I'll have to test this to see if it will do what I want without too much trouble.

My main concern is the data I display under the "Messages" tab. That's really the "key" info about the event that has to be consistent between all events.
