TOPIC: Free Events - How To?

Thanks for squashing bugs! I noticed something that I'm going to put in a Feature Request, but here seems good too....at 2.2 I thought I was being smart and COPIED my config file within the same directory, but then it looked like the component did a clean sweep of the directory....oh, it DID, uninstall wipes the directory, and so I lost my backed up config...anyway, I guess if more config settings could be in the database, that would be more robust, because you don't wipe the database on uninstall.
