TOPIC: Can't require custom fields

Is there a tutorial for custom fields set up. I am trying to make a drop down box required to select an option but am having difficulty-

if I make a the selected option in the drop - down - \"select one\" it seems to satisfy the script checking that something is selected.

Any suggestions appreciated.

There\'s a video tutorial. You would make the custom field required when you create the event.

Correct... see the video tutorials in our support area. Custom fields are not marked as required in the custom fields management area... you mark them as required PER EVENT. In the Event Management area, you select which custom fields to use for that event. That is also where you mark it as required if need be.
