If you have no need of collecting member details, then you should just setup a custom fee field for collecting the number of members. First, set the event for Individual registration only. Create the custom field as a dropdown something like this:
How many members are you registering? [1,2,3,4,5,etc]
Assign a value to each option. For 1, you would assign the value \"0\" as it would not be adding any additional cost. For each other member, assign the value that increases the cost accordingly.
This will be better than what you did in the old version as you\'ll accomplish the same thing, but in one less screen
