TOPIC: [SOLVED] Redirect not working

hi guys, i have installed jEvents 1.4.3SVN and DT Register 2.0.0 on a test account on our development server. put the new events.html.php in the com_events folder. now iv added a test event and added it to the register component. now when i have gone to test the registration, i found the event with the calander clicked "register for this event" selected eiter indovidual or group. clicked next. then it came to a page reading "Please wait while you are being redirected to PayPal for making payment..." but it goes no further. any idead?
