I am using Joomla 3.8.3 with PHP 5.6. Once I create an event, I can't go back and edit it. I make sure that I am the event owner, and my ID is a Super User. I have gone into the PHPmyadmin to make sure the user ID was correct. I can edit locations, fields, everything else - but not events for some reason. Help!! I get the following message when I click to edit an event - "You are not authorized to access this function."

- make sure in DT Reg permissions that Super User does NOT have "Edit Own Items Only" checked.

- make sure your user is assigned ONLY to the Super User group. Being assigned to other groups can cause issues here.... and isn't necessary anyway. If you make group assignment changes, you'll need to logout and login for them to apply.
