Is there any way to configure a specific event to NOT be listed among the events that are listed as open for registration? I can't see this as an option in the event general configuration - it seems like any event that's published automatically shows up on the list, and it'd be great if I was able to designate which ones I wanted to show up or not.

The way to control the actual display or hiding of an event is through the category access level. You can, for example, set the access level of a category to "Registered". Then any event assigned to that category will not be visible to someone unless they are logged in.

Also, if you want an event to be listed, but not open for registration, you can set the "Registration Open Date" to any date that is actually AFTER the event ends... and it will never be active.
