TOPIC: Events that do not require registration

I would like to mix events that require registration and don't require registration - i.e., essentially just an announcement on the website vs actually taking down registrations. Ideally, I could show both in the calendar and events list. Is it possible to use DT Register to list both kinds of events?

And yes, I know how silly it sounds asking if I can get users to NOT register with something called 'DT Register'.

Is the only way to do this a sync with JEvents?

Hello. This can be done, yes... and no, you don't need JEvents. Simply set the "Registration Open Date" to any date AFTER the event is over. That will cause the event to be displayed but never have an active registration.
