TOPIC: [SOLVED] PHP Parse error / syntax error in dtview.php

I always get blank page when I try to access the component in the backend.

In the error log file on Apache error_log I get the following:

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /administrator/components/com_dtregister/lib/dtview.php on line 489

When I check in the dtview.php I can see:

<?
}
?>


I have Joomla 1.7
PHP 5.3
DT Register 2.7.9a

This is definitely a code issue otherwise I would not get this Parse error.
