TOPIC: 2.1.4 J!1.5 beta version not seeing Jevents events

??? First post about the 1.5 compatible beta, hoping someone else tries it soon. I'm using J! 1.5.1, Jevents 1.5alpha, and DT Register 2.1.4 J!1.5 beta. DT register does not pull any events from Jevents. I fuddled around with all different version of both components and played with legacy mode and had the same problem each time. Any ideas?

This works when we test it. Here's the main thought... are your events recurring events?? DT Register does not recognize recurring events from JEvents. Make sure they are one time events and they should show up just fine. Also, make sure the events category is published... make sure the events are not past but are still current... just some things to check. If none of those items fix your problem, submit a support ticket including joomla and ftp logins. Thanks.

Hi, I have successfully installed Jevents and created a number of events and categories.

I have the same problem.

The problem is that when I go to the Registration Management page and click NEW, I cannot create a new event because the drop-down list does not contain any of the events that I have previously created in JEvents.

All my evets are current and as far as i can say do not repeat. All events and categories are published.

How can I make it to pull events from JEvents?

I am running J1.5.2 and the latest JEvents and DT register versions, which I have installed last night.

presencia - I answered your support ticket on this already...

At this point, if you are using the 1.5 version of JEvents, you need to use the \"Legacy Mode\" side of JEvents. You can\'t use the iCal events setup yet. DT Register will not see those. Our next release of DT Register will work in the native 1.5 and will also work with JEvents iCal versions. I assume this is your problem. If not, let us know. Thanks.
