TOPIC: Need some guidance configuring 'groups'

I purchased DT Register today and I\'m certain I can make it work for my application. I currently direct races. Each race has a number of divisions (solo, 2-person, 2-person coed, 4-person male, etc.) I\'m very happy with the custom fields, but I\'m unsure of the best way to approach this. Here is how I would like it to function:

1. Customer selects the division they will be racing in
2. Based on selection, number in group is determined.

from there, I\'ve got it figured out. Any suggestions?

Hello. If you mean that you want the first option to be selecting the race so it automatically enters the number in the group, that is not currently possible without modifying the component. However, for this, I would not use group registration. I assume you don\'t need a bunch of info for each member of the race team. You could do only individual registration then use custom fields to select the race type and collect any additional info needed such as team member names, etc. Hope this helps a bit.
