Recently, I've been having a problem with CSV export. At times I'm unable to get CSV export to complete. The progress bar will go about 3/4 of the way across and then it hangs. This only seems to happen when I trying to get several hundred records or so. By setting date ranges I'm able to download subsets of the records and eventually get everything. I've tried decreasing the number of fields in the export but it doesn't help.
Has anyone else seen this?

What version of DT Register are you running? You may need to update... but most likely, this is a server limitation that you are running into.

Nathan,
We're running 2.8.10a. In the past I've been able to export events with twice as many records as now. Also, it seems to be that certain records are causing the problem. It's just that the chance of getting one of the records increases as the event gets larger. I've been able to get it to hang when there are only 20 records in the date range.

We just updated to 2.8.11. Please update to that on your site. If it doesn't help, I'll give you a tweak here that you can make that should.

I updated to the current version and it still hangs. Should I open a ticket?

Please go to My Orders and download DT Register again. We just now updated the package including a small modification to the CSV export to help the small number of sites having this hang up on large exports. Basically, your server can't handle the process, but with the changes made, it should get you moving along.
