After much ongoing work, we have now updated DT Register to version 2.7.9 which now includes support for Joomla 1.7! If you do not know, Joomla has declared "end of life" for 1.6, so you should update your 1.6 site to 1.7 ASAP. If you've been waiting on DT Register for this, you can stop waiting! This update is also for the Joomla 1.5/1.6 versions. This release also contains many other fixes and improvements. Check out more details and the full announcement to see the rest...

- The download package includes versions for both Joomla 1.5 and 1.6/1.7. In the package, each folder has it's own set of install files for the component, modules, plugins, etc as well as its own readme.txt file giving full details and instructions. READ THEM! Once you migrate to 1.6/1.7, you will need to load the new 1.6/1.7 version of each piece of DT Register (modules, plugins, profile plugins, etc). There are many CSS changes as well as completely reformatted language files, so you can't just use your older versions of these files. Be sure you test out the 1.6/1.7 version on your site before you throw it immediately into live action. If you are upgrading from our 1.6 release to this new 1.7 release, you do not need to update all of the plugins and modules again.
- Added a new conditional option for the recently added Offline Credit Card option... in the pay options setup, you can now choose a custom field and select a value for the Offline Card option to be based on. So if the user chooses the appropriate field value during registration, then the offline card option will be given.
- Added the Event Time as an option to include in the CSV Export.
- Added the Event Time to all event dropdown filters and the list of events in the CSV Export tool (if the time is set in configuration to be displayed). Now those of you with multiple events on the same day with the same name can easiliy sort through your events and records!
- Modified the Attendee button access. The access for Public, Registered or Special remains, however now if you do not have access, you will not even SEE the button.
- Modified the options for fields firstname, lastname and email. Now, to avoid incorrect setup problems, you can not unpublish or delete the default "email" field, nor can you make it not required. The firstname and lastname fields can be unpublished, but not deleted.
- Updated the Community Builder records history plugin for J1.6/1.7 to fix issue with displaying the proper records in the profile.
- Fixed conditional field ordering issue in Chrome and IE so they follow proper ordering and remain consistent with Firefox and other browsers.
- Fixed the calendar popup alignment in IE9.
- Fixed a loophole in the frontend User Panel to prevent users from having the ability to edit a record (even when that is disabled) after backing out of the payment area.
- Fixed the User Panel editing of group members to remove a conflict between members and the group billing email when duplicate registration prevention is enabled.
- Fixed the late fee as it was basing only on the given date but was ignoring the time.
- Fixed the detail article selection for frontend event management. (J1.6)
- Fixed records search error. (J1.6)
- Fixed the Group Sync button in the Permissions area so existing group names would be updated if needed and individual users won't be dropped from the permissions matrix. (J1.6)
- Fixed an issue on the billing page that was occurring when the Country field was not used or deleted.
- Fixed the tooltips that were not showing on a small number of servers in the backend field management area.
- For those that are behind on updates, see the announcements category in the forum to see other items that were added or fixed in other previous updates.

Where can I download these updates??

Glad you asked... Login to our site, go to My Orders. Next to your order details you will see a Download link. This link always pulls the latest package that is available. You have access to this link for one year from purchase. If your order is no longer active, you would need to make a new purchase to get any further updates. After downloading the update, be sure to follow the upgrade instructions in the readme file. Important note is you will need to have upgraded first.

Make sure you read the docs inside of the new package and follow the instructions for upgrading!! As always, we are working hard continually to make our extensions better and better. Thanks for your ongoing support!
