I have restored my site back to from a backup done last week to Joomla 3.4.1 but still the same issue. Might have to restore the database also. See if that fixes the problem.

If anyone has a workaround would appreciate some advise.

I see that there are other issues too with submit buttons and J!3.4.2. In this thread users are adviced that a fix, J!3.4.3, should appear tomorrow, could help us too:

Joomla 3.4.3 was just released and I upgraded - unfortunately this did not solve the issue in DT Register.

I'm having the same issue. When editing an event, it won't allow me to save. Also noticed in some cases the User tagged to the event is not showing up which might be part of the issue.

LOL I just renewed my DTreg subscription, having upgraded to J3.4.3 and found that save events etc as mentioned above not working.. thought it was because I was a couple of points behind on the version number @ 3.0.9, but now find 3.1.1 ain't working either!

J3.4.2 was on release candidate for a fortnight - should give devs time for testing?

It looks like the validator in core.js is going wonky for some reason - is there somewhere to just dump the validation out of the dtreg backend so I can just input stuff without the checks for a quick fix?

Hi, Nathan (or another DTH Development moderator) -

Just wondering if you could confirm for all of us that you have seen this post and that someone is working on the issue?

We're having to keep a heavily-visited site 2 Joomla! versions behind while we wait for a fix....
