I recall having a problem upgrading DTR and CB when we migrated to J!3.x also, and found the remedy was to uninstall all components, modules and plugins from the 2.x install, migrate to Joomla 3, and upgrade (reinstall) DTR *first*, then upgrade/reinstall CB2 - but don't forget to synchronize users or you'll get an error message.

Hope this helps!

I'm running a clean install of Joomla 3.4.3 DTR 3.1.1b CB 2.0.9
An its not creating users on new registrations.

Did you guys solve the issue. Is it a setting issue in CB or DT?

I turn on error logging and got no errors.

There are no known bugs in this area. If users are not being created, assuming your DT Reg config and events are setup properly to create the users... check this also:

- go to Joomla User Manager
- click OPTIONS in toolbar
- Make sure "Allow User Registration" is set to YES. This is required.

Nathan, I'm still having problems with site registration being bypassed. Your instructions above contradict those of CommunityBuilder which say that Joomla User Creation should be set to 'no', and in CB the setting is 'yes, independent of site registration.'

Can you help us get this sorted out?

Thanks!

@HammerHead - for DT Register to create users, that setting in Joomla user options needs to be set to YES. CB says to set to NO simply to not allow registration outside of CB. Not for functionality. There is a plugin to redirect so if anyone did manually or otherwise try to access core Joomla registration, it would redirect them to CB. So the issue would be resolved.

If the setting is on YES, and all settings are as needed within DT Register, you'll be just fine.
