Having some trouble getting a user to see registrations on the front end. Added user to the DTR permissions panel, ticked the checkbox for 'manage records' on the Permissions panel, but not sure how to get that information to display on the front end.

Thanks in advance!

In Permissions, does the user have "Edit Own Items Only" checked? If so, they'll only see records for events they are the named moderator for.

If you do not have the individual user added to the permissions matrix and are just using the user group, make sure the user is assigned only to the appropriate user group. The user may also need to logout and login again for changes to be applied.

Nathan, I verified that 'manage own settings' is NOT selected before even posting, having gone through your video tutorial. I added the user individually to the permissions panel and selected 'edit events' and 'manage records' but those options do not appear when clicking through to the DTR component via the 'upcoming events' module.

Now this is making sense. You are looking for records in a place where they do not exist. :)

The upcoming events module is for ONE thing... taking people on to register for an event. To access records, you need to create a MENU item for DT Register -> Control Panel. That page will include buttons to various features... one of which is Records management.

Nathan, I was going to do just that, but it didn't make sense for such a link to be seen by Registered users. We could use DTR in 'group permissions' mode and change access level for those individuals who need to see registration data to 'manager', but that means they would have access to the site that they don't need to have. Is there any way to have a happy medium where we can show only those who are 'hosts' of an event who need to see registration activity while preventing them from having 'manager' access or showing the menu link globally to everyone?

You can set the access level of any menu item in Joomla. Create the menu item as already described, and set it to an appropriate access level... so only the people you want can see it.
