To whomever it may concern,

I am very interested in purchasing DT Register, I wish to implement it into my community based website. As you have not currently developed a platform for my users to scan the barcodes generated I have had to look at third party options.

codeREADr ( https://www.codereadr.com ) seems to temporarily fit my requirements until you develop a smart phone application. For codeREADr to work I will have to export a CSV file from DT Register and import it into the codeREADr database. The file needs to be in this format;

barcodevalue, name of person (e.g. Simon Smith) is this possible???

Can the barcode value be exported on the CSV file?
Will you be introducing QR barcodes anytime soon, as they are alot quicker to scan??
When will the app for scanning barcodes be released???

Sorry for the delay on this post. When you do the CSV export from DT Register, you customize what data is included. So you could pull the confirmation number (which is what the barcode is built off of) and the registrant name.

We haven't looked into QR barcodes at this time. The smartphone app hasn't hit the table yet either. Hasn't been priority compared to other items. We still plan on doing it though. Hopefully you can utilize codereadr in the meantime.

would like to know if the original poster had any luck using codereader or if they come up with a different solution.

How can the Barcode be added to the CVS export?

Barcode is the only reason I purchased this cool system as an alternative to Virtuemart, and the feature list showed barcodes are generated for each Registration, and Registration data could be exported as CSV.

Simple conclusion says that the barcode is included in the Registrant data.

I registered a sample registration, exported the record with all data checked as included in the export, but there was no barcode. How to?

Thank you!

@jsrunder - as stated above, you can pull the confirmation number in the CSV export, which is what the barcode is built off of. The barcode itself is an image and is not included in the CSV TEXT file. The confirmation number, however, IS the barcode. Same number.

Hello, and thank you for the reiteration.

We're almost to the solution I needed when I purchased the product.

My client needs the barcode added to the list of Registrants.

Ideas on how this can be accomplished?

Thank you.
