clawcorp - the ACL Fix plugin is not NEEDED by most people... but is nice as it addresses what is just an annoyance for some people. For people that have user group assignment changes being made by DT Register (or other extensions), the plugin is needed.

We haven't tested yet to see if anything in Joomla 3.5 addresses that issue or not.
