Ok, I know Joomla 3.4 JUST came out and the DT team is always on top of updates, but I'll just post this so folks can see the Q&A and not bug the team w/messages (and get the answer myself when it's ready).
When will DT Register be compatible with 3.4? (or is it already?)

We are unaware of any issues with running DT Register in Joomla 3.4.0 at this point. There is ONE install issue though...
There is a known issue, a change that wasn't completed in the Joomla package that affects the install of some extensions. You have two options if you run into this install problem:
1) Apply the patch to joomla provided here (which will be included in 3.4.1):
github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/6180.patch
2) Use the install from directory option, which works already.
