OK, just purchased and read all the install info. Here is what I have going.
1. Calendar plugin doesn't show any of the test events I have created.
2. I create an event (open play weekends) and have tried to make it come up for every saturday and sunday throughout the year to no avail.
What have I done wrong? HELP!

You double-posted for support... and this was answered in your ticket. But for those reading...
The issue is that your event categories were assigned to the Joomla user group "Guest". That is NOT the same as Public... and is a default user group that confuses a lot of people. I changed your categories to be "Public" and your one event now shows fine.
Regarding repeating weekend... you can create a repeating event that would show every Friday (for example), but not every full weekend. You COULD pick Friday and Saturday, but it would put a separate event for each day.
In this case, your best bet would be to create the weekend event, then copy it as needed. Thanks!
