I am getting this error on an install in Joomla 1.7. The entire web page will not come up if the extension in published. I would appreciate any help at all.

Fatal error: Cannot make static method JTable::getInstance() non static in class DtrTable in /home/content/02/8103902/html/administrator/components/com_dtregister/lib/dttable.php on line 239

Using a 4 year old version of DT Register (2.6.9) in anything beyond Joomla 1.5 will NOT work. At all. You have to have the latest build. That's it.
