I am getting an intermittent requirement for the user to login: When I use the category listing, using event details in an article, and using the button plug-in, I have no problem.
If I use the monthly calendar listing and link to the details from the event title, then try to use the "Register Now" button, the user is required to login.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Event plugin and am still experiencing the same error.

Any ideas about what might be causing this? Note that both the event list, event calendar, each event and the plug in all have "Public" level security.

Just as an FYI for the Dev team. If you haev overlapping event check turned on in the configuration but the events are set to public it causes an SQL error. The Dev team may want to put some checks in there to keep fail the SQL query gracefully instead of a hard fail.

Great work beyond this that I have found so far however.

It really makes perfect sense once you consider it. :silly: The one holding me up was the overlapping check. How can you see if you are registered to an event if you haven't signed in :whistle: ... Sheesh. THANK you... :P

I'm sorry but I'm running into this issue and I have triple checked that none of the above conditions exist. I even tried "Exclude Event from Overlap Check:" set to yes on the particular event.

I've been using DTReg for many years so I know a bit about it and I'm stumped here.
