TOPIC: Mailchimp plugin - existing list member

Hi

I'm interested in the Mailchimp plugin. but see it hasn't been updated in quite a long time. Is it still ok to use without issue? I just don't want my client to pay $20 if ti may not work with more updated versions of Joomla.

I'm running DT Register Version: 3.1.6c on Joomla 3.4.8

Also, just a question: If someone registering for an event is already on the mailing list, how is that handled? Will automatic addition through DT Register result in a duplicate or automatically ignore the addition if the email is already in the Mailchimp list?

Hello! Sorry that this post wasn't answered previously! We have updated the MailChimp plugin now and verified it is all good with the latest build of Joomla 3.

If someone is already on the mail list, they do not get added again... no error shows... it just proceeds, but no double subscription happens.

I uninstalled previous version and installed 3.1

Unfortunately neither optional or forced seemed to work on my set up.

I uninstalled 3.1 and went back to 3.0 and forced worked. So at least I'm back to that working.

You can submit a ticket with admin access... with the updated plugin in place and we'll check it out.
