TOPIC: DT Register 3.0.9 / 2.8.13 Updates

Since the release two weeks ago of DT Register 3.0.9 and 2.8.13, we've just made a new update available... 3.0.9a and 2.8.13a. Here's what's included:

- Fixed some permissions items that were partially done in the previous update. With these changes, you can now correctly control who has access to manage events. Before, if "Edit Own Items Only" was checked, the user had access to manage their own events... whether they had permission to manage events or not.

NOTE: You should re-save DT Register Permissions after applying this update!!

- Made some text changes in event management for "Auto Created User Group"... changed it to "Auto Assigned User Group" as the functionality (when a group is selected in the event) assigns ALL registrants to the selected group(s), whether creating a new user or not. This is intentional and powerful, but was a little confusing to some. So the label is changed and the tooltip is more detailed. Also, this user group selection is no longer displayed only when auto-user creation is enabled.

- Modified the FRONTEND event management so admin level user groups are not available to be selected for the auto-assigned user group setting... for security reasons.

- Fixed issue in Frontend Event Management when selecting an article category for the details article, it populated an event listing instead of articles from the selected category.

Issue on group registrations. The additional members are entered but the system does not verify if they are registered members and applies the member only discount regardless. Will the updates to 3.0.9 correct this? If now how do we manage it?

Also, when I download the 3.0.9 what all needs to be updated on the sites? I see a com_dtregister2_8_13a_j25. Do all the other files need to be uploaded too?

A member discount is applied based on the current logged in user. There is no check based on the email addresses of each member.

The package contains a readme file with upgrade instructions. Use the install zip packages and instructions for the appropriate Joomla version.
