DTH Development

I have yet to see what happens when I am testing an event registration and I fill out the form and click the \'Next Step\' button. When I click it, it just brings up the same form again as if it was being brought up for the first time. No entered fields are populated.

I am running DT Register v2.3.2, Joomla 1.0.15, CB 1.1 and JEvents 1.4.2. The site is mvws.org. Feel free to test it out to see what I mean. I have Paypal set to testing mode in the DT Register config.

Please help!

When did you download your copy of DT Register?

I just downloaded it this morning. 12/13/2008.

Never heard from any other DTH staff on this, but after pursuing the research myself, I removed our old OpenSEF mod and installed the newer sh404SEF mod and the DT Register form submission started working again. So it appears there was a compatibility problem with the old obsolete OpenSEF mod. Hope this post helps someone else!

I\'m having the same problem except I already have the latest version of sh404SEF as well as the latest version of Joomla. When I click \"Next Step\" absolutely nothing happens (using Firefox 3.0.5).

The problem first occurred after installing 2.3.3.

I cleared my url cache but that did not help at all...any suggestions?

Just updated to 2.3.7 and again, the \"Next Step\" button does not work.

The Next Step button does absolutely nothing when clicking it.

Seriously, some help with this would be awesome. I test all DT Register updates on a development environment first so giving you all access login credentials really isn\'t an option.

I haven\'t been able to update our production site since 2.3.2 because of this problem.

kywolf - this is NOT a problem that remains in recent versions however you clearly have something causing a conflict in your site. Without being able to see it, not sure what you expect us to tell you. How have you done upgrades? Uninstall then reinstall?

99% of the time, a problem like this ends up being the result of some other javascript in the site, missing closing tag in a template, etc. We can help track down the problem, but can\'t tell you what it is without being able to see it because it\'s not a direct DT Register problem.

Thank you for replying. I guess I\'ll wait for the J1.5 version to be released before upgrading.
