Hi,

I would like to create users who have the ability to login and view the attendee records but NOT be able to edit or delete the records. They should also be able to do a CSV export.

I setup the Registered group to be able to login to the Administration console and the group is not able to edit articles, can view attendee records but is also able to edit and save a record.

Any help will be appreciated.

Yikes... you give everyone admin access??? If someone has backend access to your site, they WILL have access to records, completely. Nothing you can do about that presently.

You need to rely on frontend access only... use our Attendees list as you can set the access level of who can see it... and you control what data shows in the list. That is what that is intended for. View only, no editing.

I don't recall saying I would be giving everyone Admin access. What I said is I have a few users that I would like to allow to view the records and allow them to do a CSV export.

I would think that if the DT Register Permission Management does not have anything checked then the individual would not be able to edit a record, but it does. Seems like a bug to me.

It's not a bug... just that the records management has no permissions control yet. As we add it to frontend options, we'll add the necessary permissions for it as well.
