We use DT Register for couples classes. We've set up the group registration for groups of 2 but it always asks for the name of each member and the name of the group (which for a couple is usually redundant) and I can't figure out how to make it so that we can disable the group contact window.

Is there some way to set up a group registration so that it doesn't ask for a group contact after the couple has already entered their information?

No, the group contact page is required. You control what data is there. Required would be a name and email. If you don't need to also collect data for each member, you can do a "Simple Group Registration" so you just enter the number then go to the main group billing/contact page. That might be the better route for you. You could put whatever fields you need on that page.

I'd like to try that out. Where do I set Simple Group Registration. I'm not seeing it anywhere.

Yikes... 2.6.4 is VERY old... and not supported. The option of Simple group registration was added in the 2.7 series. You'll need to get updated. Assuming your license is expired since what you are using is so old. You can purchase a new license to get the current package with another year of updates and support. The improvements in 2.7 compared to what you have are HUGE.

Is the newest version compatible with JEvents 1.5.3?

Yes, but that is pretty old now too. Actually, once you move into 2.7, JEvents is no longer required. You CAN use it if you want, but you can drop it completely if you don't need it. DT Register has it's own calendar now so if you still need a calendar view, you've got it.
