Is it possible to create different types of events? For example: At some events for the registration is a special number field needed to fill in a customer number - frontend view. At other events this number field shoul not be shown at all in the frontend. So if somebody edit a new event in the backend there should be the possibility to chose a form for events with custom number field or a form without a custom number field. There is no check needed for the custom number. Can in this case a custom field be the solution?

You can create as many fields as you need to and setup the default use for each event. Then within each event, you select which fields to use and how to use them... if you do not want to use them in their default settings. So every event essentially can have its own unique form. Thanks.
