Discuss DT Register for Joomla 1.7 (2.7.9 +) and Joomla 2.5 (2.7.13+).

Hi,
i use currenct version of DTRegister (2.7.18b) and have the following problem. Sometimes i find two or three empty registrations in my booking list. Empty means: no name, no email - nothing!
I was not able to reproduce this error. I dont have any idea, how it was possible for somebody to submit an empty form. Does anybody have an idea?

I have this problem nearly every day. Some minutes ago, i got three emtpy registrations directly after each other. Perhaps we can get a statement of DTH Development concerning this issue!? If they do not comment this thread, i will open a bug-ticket.

Currently i have 6 events released. The problem occurs only and allways with one event - which is the last one i released. It is the only event, which has a reduced set of fields: first name, last name, Email, Security code and terms and conditions. The price is 0.00.
In most cases, i get three empty Mails for new registrations directly after each other. All Mails contain different confirmation numbers and the status sometimes is "Waiting" and sometimes is "Confirmed".
In my booking list, i only find two new and empty registrations.
Does anybody have an idea, what is going wrong?

There is an other interesting thing conerning this issue: i allways get three empty mails - i receive the first one between 3 and 15 minutes before i get mail 2 and mail 3. I allways get mail 2 and 3 directly after each other in the same minute.

PS: DT Register is a great piece of software - i like it very much, it has lots of valuable features, is well designed and, so far, we never had serious trouble with it.

I'm still receiving three empty registrations - nobody there, who has an idea?

Ollie... I just replied to your ticket, but will put the thoughts here as well...
Two things...
1) I see that the blank records in your system presently are all from the same event... an event that has no correct records. This tells me the problem may be specific to that event. To help with that, I did open and re-save the event. Maybe field assignments were not fully saved to the event.
Can you verify that this issue has been tied to one event only?
2) I uploaded a couple of modified files that may also help. Please monitor over the next few days and let us know if the issue happens again. Thanks again for your patience!

@dthadmin: the only way to open a ticket is to provide administrator access to our production system - this is not wanted.
We still receive empty registrations. Is there any other possibility to get the modified files? Are there any news about this topic?

There is no concern there, but if you're that worried about it, enter ANYTHING in those fields. It will still submit. We'll send you files through there.

I'd updated to 2.8 - no success I'd updated to 2.8.1 - no success
