Have been messing with this for a while and can't seem to figure it out.
Installed Version: 2.7.16
Multiple Event Cart Option: Enabled
Minimum Number of Events for Cart: 1
Maximum Number of Events for Cart: 6
Session Length (in seconds): 3600

Have multiple events that I want to be able to be able to add to the cart.
>> I register the first event and it is added to the cart.
>> Register the second event and can see the first event in the cart when I go into register the second event.
>> All of the fields are pre-populated so I change the first name.
>> Still see the first event in the cart on the second event confirmation page.
>> Goto the the next page which is the cart for the second event and the first event is gone and the cart only displays the second event.

Hello. Make sure you are running version 2.7.16b and you shouldn't have this problem. If you still do, submit a ticket.

I also had this issue and the newest software release 2.7.16c seems to have fixed the issue.

However I do still see a shopping cart issue.

If I select an event with a Group and add that to the cart, everything looks good. If I then add an event for an individual, it will multiply the price of the event by the number of people in the previously added Group. So that if the first event has 2 people in the Group, the price of the individual will be the price x 2. Also in the summary for the individual it will show the previous Group member names.

Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue as lincolnsuncity. I'm running 2.7.18b. The second event added to the cart always multiplies the price by the number of members in the previous event. In fact even if you register as an individual the confirmation page contains all the members from the first group registration.

To solve the problem with second and subsequent events being the same type and having the same number of users as the first registration simply comment out the following line of code from /components/com_dtregister/controllers/events.php (line 674)

This line copies the user info from the first user in the sessions into the new registration. This included the registration type (G or I) and the member total (memtot). By commenting it out the cart function works perfectly.
