We are thinking about using this product for our membership conference. We have our own custom system but we are noticing that DT register has about 75 percent of what we have developed plus some features we have not incorporated so it may be smarter to go with a community tested project. 100 percent of our attendees are corporate.
1. One of the features we currently have and would continue to need is the ability to offer free registrations based on the number of registrations from a particular membership ID (which is not the same as a userid). Example, every 10th registration is free when using a particular member ID no matter if they register as a group or individually, as most of our member entities have multiple sites, multiple payment cards, and multiple billing contacts. Jomsocial integration is not really an option for us here as we focus on member ID and not an individual user per the nature of our membership.
2. When entering in the membership ID, normalized address information is automatically populated.
3. I read somewhere that a partial credit card number (last four digits) does not get included on a receipt no matter what payment gateway is used. We currently do not record credit card numbers but our payment gateway returns this information so we are confused if this is the case. As our registrants are corporate, this feature is required for their reconciliation requirements.
We will be getting the developer version as it seems that we may need to attempt to add these features, but honestly without knowing the structure up front, it may be unlikely that we will be able to elegantly wedge these options in. We will be requesting a quote for these features as well to see it is feasible to add these options, but would like to know if any of the above is on the road map.
