Last night I updated one of my DT Register installations from .11 to .15a.

I am really excited to see what the outcome is for the lighter-weight processing.

The problem is that something in my browser, and apparently other users as well, has chached an outdated script and causing the fee fields to not be functional for many returning users.

The fields did not work for me until I hard reset the pages (CMD + R, or SFT F5). Then the fields seemed to work as intended.

Is there a way I can set a browser expire to force the browser to load new scripts?

No, but I'd suggest turning off any cache in Joomla config or your template. Also make sure your template or any other plugins are it set to "optimize" scripts on your site, meaning compressing and/or replacing scripts. That can cause this type of problem too.
